Dr. Varma's approach to medicine is rooted in precision, longevity, and deeply personalized cancer care. She serves her community through volunteer medical care, public health leadership, and patient advocacy — helping cancer patients live life to the fullest. She has served on cancer and healthcare quality committees, led medical education and physician mentorship initiatives, and advocated for advanced palliative and end-of-life care that preserves dignity. She is also the recipient of multiple prestigious research awards including the Pfizer Medal for First Rank in Medical School.
